Our story

The school at Plympton opened on 29 January 1935 with 23 children, and in 1991 was officially opened and named St John the Baptist Catholic School.

It is guided by the Josephite tradition of St Mary MacKillop and teaches Reception to Year 6. Most students go on to Cabra Dominican College or Sacred Heart College, and the school works with both on the move to secondary school.
