Our story
Lobethal Lutheran School was established in 1842 by the Lobethal Lutheran congregation to educate the children of its community. Like other Lutheran schools in South Australia it closed during the First World War, in 1917, and reopened in 1930.
It is a small Foundation to Year 6 school in the Adelaide Hills, known for its outdoor learning program, kitchen garden and STEMAg work, with a bus service for families across the region.
