Our story
St Francis Xavier's Regional Catholic School at Wynn Vale officially opened in 1983, when Saint David's at Tea Tree Gully was full and the parishes of Tea Tree Gully, Modbury and Holy Trinity joined to found a regional primary school for the growing north-east.
It is named after the Jesuit missionary St Francis Xavier, a founding member of the Society of Jesus, as a sign of the school's sense of mission. It is now a large Reception to Year 6 school, and families are encouraged to apply well before their child turns two.
