Our story

Compass Catholic Community opened in January 2022 at Davoren Park as a fee-free senior school for young people aged 17 to 24 who want to finish their SACE in a different way. It reached its planned 120 students in 2024, a year early, and announced a building project in 2025 to double its capacity.

There are no subjects, bells or uniforms: students co-design projects and workshops with registered teachers, supported by youth workers. The school also offers free childminding for students with young children, breakfast each day and a laundry. Its motto is “I am the way, the truth and the life”.
