Our story
Cedar College was established in 1997 at Northgate in Adelaide’s north-east as a ministry of Oakden Baptist Church (now Navigate Baptist Church). It is a distinctly Christian school and a member of Christian Schools Australia and the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia.
The college is organised in four ‘branches’: Junior Primary (Reception to Year 2), Upper Primary (Years 3 to 6), Middle School (Years 7 to 9) and Senior School (Years 10 to 12). It had almost 900 students in 2025, its 29th year, with facilities including a creative arts centre, a learning support centre, science laboratories, a resource centre and a sports centre.
