Our story

St Augustine's Parish School began in 1954, when the Dominican Sisters of North Adelaide were invited to open a parish primary school for the fast-growing northern suburbs around the new City of Elizabeth. The sisters first drove out to Salisbury daily to teach in a single three-classroom building.

It is now one of the largest Catholic primary schools in Adelaide, set on extensive grounds with a school garden, vineyard and orchard, and devices supplied at school. Its motto, 'Truth', comes from the Dominican 'Veritas', and a major building program began in 2023.
