Our story
Our Lady of Grace School at Glengowrie began in 1954, founded by parishioners of the Glenelg Catholic Parish who wanted a joint school and church for the growing area, then known as Dunleath Gardens. Led by the Dominican Sisters, it first taught children up to Year 3 in classrooms within the church.
Over more than 70 years it has grown into a Reception to Year 6 school guided by the Dominican pillars of prayer, study, community and service. Many families continue to Cabra Dominican College or Sacred Heart College after Year 6.
