Our story
St Peters Lutheran School opened at Blackwood in 1999 as an outreach of St Peters Lutheran Church, giving families in the southern foothills a small Lutheran primary school close to home.
In 2023 it became the third campus of Concordia College, a Lutheran school whose story goes back to 1890 at Murtoa in Victoria and which had already joined with St John’s Lutheran Primary in 2016. The Blackwood campus teaches early learning to Year 6, and its students can continue at Concordia’s Highgate campus. The college motto is ‘Firm in Principle, Gentle in Manner’.
