Our story
FAME (Flexible Accredited Meaningful Engagement) began as a mobile service in the Christies Beach area for young people who had left mainstream schooling. After working in partnership with several schools, it became a registered special assistance school in the Edmund Rice Education Australia flexible schools network in 2015.
It now has a newly built campus at Christie Downs for Years 7 to 12. Students can study SACE subjects and the Australian Curriculum alongside VET certificates such as Kitchen Operations, with youth workers on site.
