St Andrew's School

St Andrew’s School grew out of St Andrew’s Church in Walkerville, built in 1847 by the first families of John Walker’s village, only eleven years after the colony was proclaimed. The parish followed it with a primary school, and the original sandstone schoolroom opened on 23 September 1850.
