Our story
Sunrise Christian School Marion began as the Maranatha Assembly and School and became part of Sunrise Christian School in 2001. Sunrise Christian School began in 1978 as a ministry of Adelaide Christian Centre in Sturt Street, from a vision of its senior pastor, Leo Harris, who made the first donation to the project.
Since January 2019, Marion’s Years 7 to 9 students have been taught in a middle school partnership with Temple Christian College, then move to Temple’s Mile End campus for Years 10 to 12. A new early learning centre opened in May 2022 as part of a 4.5-million-dollar facilities upgrade, and the campus now runs from early learning to Year 9.
