Our story
St Patrick’s Technical College opened in January 2007 with 110 students as the Australian Technical College, Northern Adelaide, a federal government initiative run with Catholic Education SA and a consortium of northern Adelaide industry. Classes started in temporary rooms at Davoren Park.
In May 2008 the college moved into a 15 million dollar purpose-built facility at Edinburgh North, and in 2009 Catholic Education SA took over its governance and gave it its present name. It was the only South Australian school in the federal P-TECH program in 2017, signed up its 1,000th apprenticeship in 2020 and added Year 10 in 2021.
