Our story
Trinity College began in 1984, when a small group of Gawler families opened a school with 27 students in the hall of St George’s Anglican Church, Gawler. The next year it moved to Alexander Avenue at Evanston South, and it has since grown into one college of six schools in Adelaide’s north, from preschool to Year 12, open to all families in a liberal Anglican tradition under the motto-like aim ‘excellence for all’.
Trinity College Senior opened in 2006 on the Evanston South site as a separate school for Year 11 and Year 12 students from all the Trinity schools, with its own principal, deans for each feeder school and tutor groups named after Australian figures. An expansion of the senior school opened in 2026. Each Trinity school has its own shirt colour; the Senior school’s is grey.
