Our story
Trinity College began in 1984, when a small group of Gawler families opened a school with 27 students in the hall of St George’s Anglican Church, Gawler. The next year it moved to Alexander Avenue at Evanston South, and it has since grown into one college of six schools in Adelaide’s north, from preschool to Year 12, open to all families in a liberal Anglican tradition under the motto-like aim ‘excellence for all’.
Trinity College Blakeview opened in 1991 as one of the college’s Reception to Year 10 schools, on Inbarendi Drive, Blakeview, about 11 km from the Gawler site. It has its own playgrounds, ovals, netball and tennis courts and a gym. Its students move on to Trinity College Senior for Years 11 and 12, and each Trinity school has its own shirt colour; Blakeview’s is old gold.
