Our story
Sports College South Australia is an independent, not-for-profit senior secondary school for Years 11 and 12. It gained independent school status in 2018, took its first students in 2019 as SEDA College SA, and has been a member of the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia since then. In 2025 it was renamed Sports College SA.
Students complete the SACE alongside vocational training through a project-based approach built around the sports industry, and are based at major sporting venues across metropolitan Adelaide. Each class has a ‘learning team’ of teachers and mentors, many of whom have worked in sport, who help students find work placements and build a professional portfolio. In 2024 the college had 316 students.
